If you are having trouble with our podcasts look here for help. We cover many of the most common questions users have here. If you still have issues please feel free to contact us.
What is a “podcast”?
You can find a good aswer to that question HERE.
What is RSS?
You can also find a great overview of RSS HERE.
How do I download/subscribe to your podcast?
You have the option of directly downloading the MP3 file or streaming it using the “Stream It” link in each post.
For subscribing to the feed simply use a podcast client such as iPodder or Nimiq to subscribe to our RSS feed. Both clients mentioned are free as well as there being many others available at no cost. We prefer iPodder since it works on the “big 3″ operateing sytems (Windows, Mac and Linux/*nix).
By subscribing to our podcast RSS feed you will be able to schedule and automaticall download our podcast. As well as stipulate your favorite music player to load them in. With the additional option of automatically playing them once they are downloaded (depending on the client you use, iPodder supports this).
Are there other ways to listen to the podcast?
YES! You can click the link in the top right block of any page titled “Open Popup Flash Player” to open a small Flash based player for our podcasts. This is helpful if you are behind security that does not allow mp3 downloads.
Why can’t I see the latest episode in the Flash Player?
This is uaully due to you viewing a cached version of the player (which includes the playlist). To fix this try clearing your browser cache. In Firefox just go to Tools > Options > Privacy and select the “clear” button next to “Cache”. This should remedy the issue, now just refresh the pop-up containing the Flash Player and hit the play button.
