After going through what we call the “Beta” stage of the L.A.S. Podcast we have gotten some great feedback from listeners. Mainly concerning what they like and (dare I say) dislike about it. This has proven to be very helpful to us in developing a format which is most appealing to us as well as our listeners. So we are proud to announce that starting soon we will be tweaking the format of the Advisory and Vulnerability Report as well as bringing back the Security News Corner. The main change in the A and V Report is that along with straight talk on the issues of the day. We will also provide a bit of “color commentary” to go along with them. This meaning we will reference related issues and published exploits to issues. Along with other things such as related Snort signatures that may be of help to listeners. So stay tuned and thanks for listening! Right now we are focused on getting out the new release of L.A.S. Linux. So once that is done we will resume with the new podcast schedule. If you have an idea for a segment you’d like to do for the L.A.S. Podcast please feel free to contact us and provide a little about yourself, the idea, and your background in security.
